Mental Health Counsellor and Therapist in Slough
Hello, I'm Tracey Shortall, a qualified children's and adult's counsellor based in Burnham, Slough.
As a counsellor, my mission is to support those feeling lost or unsupported, who may feel misunderstood in their lives.
Many people carry emotional pain and anger, which prevents them from being their true selves.
My aim is to restore their self-worth and belief in personal growth, so they can start anew with a positive perspective.
With an advanced diploma in counselling and accreditation with the ACCPH, I bring over 20 years of experience working with CAMHS and 9 years as a Learning Support Assistant in Primary Education. This experience has given me valuable insights into working with children and young people.
I place the highest importance on equality, diversity, confidentiality, and safeguarding in all my work.
Currently volunteering with Home Start, I use my skills to support families and offer a safe, confidential space for clients of all ages to speak openly and work towards a brighter future.
Specialising in a person-centred approach, I help individuals navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and loss. I encourage clients to express their innermost thoughts and feelings, empowering them to make positive changes in their lives.
Transitioning into counselling has felt like a natural progression for me, drawing on my professional background and genuine passion for helping others.
If you feel that my approach resonates with you, please get in touch. Together, we can begin your journey towards a happier, more fulfilling future.
